di, do you recommend any other piece of equipment for my purposes. I know that I want to buy quality like Hypergravity or Vibrogym but with the exchange, shipping, etc. that I referred to it becomes a fairly expensive piece of equipment for home use. Know that quality is imperative and I cant promote the use of WBV with crap (no economic interest) but one does need to look at the cash outlay

thanks Josh. I have no interest in the T Zone machine as I was fairly certain it was another chinese piece of crap. I have not dismissed the hypergravity machine as I do believe that it is an excellent piece of equipment (looking at the pro). The price point with the items I referred to brings it to about 8500 cdn. steep. still looking for a quality machine so wont go on the cheap. Want a machine with training ability for personal use. But my agenda is to bring a piece of equipment here that can provide a true representation of the capabilities of WBV. No commercial interest or economic benefit to me. Only a chance to have an industry expand here which is in dire need. FYI we also have the HIT fitness here. They promote the pro ellixe with the ROM. Just another example of lack of trainers knowledge. Noone is going to see the benefits if these are the machines that trainers are recommending (needless to say the power plate is also on that list)

Hi Lori,

The T-Zone machines are also available here in Alberta. They are selling for around 1400 CDN, if you are going to go this route buy on ebay, they sell the same machine for as low as 140 CDN. I don't recommend this machine, but I hate seeing people getting ripped off.

The Hypergravity machines do come with 90 days unconditional defect coverage (100% shipping), and the balance of the standard warranty covers any parts or labor that may be required to keep it running at 100%.

Kind regards, Josh Wiebe

Regards, Josh

I am waiting to hear about the used vibrogym lloyd referred to. I have inquired about the hypergravity and that would be the likely option for me. Unfortunately we have to add about 30% to the price due to exchange, duty, brokerage, taxes etc. Also have to keep in mind no service here. it does have the warranty but the shipping for the item makes it not likely. thanks though. And from reading this blog I have no doubt that your recommendation is based on nothing more than pure commitment to this industry and helping others with wise decisions. thanks

lori, did you decide against getting the Vibrogym? Have you looked at Hypergravity? That's another quality brand available in Canada (I do no benefit from saying this).

yes i knew that they are pivotal. There is a new agency here that is looking for trainers. Problem they are only looking at the power plate. The fitness market in Toronto is huge I am surprised that the knowledge of WBV here is "nil". The only reason anyone buys power plate here is because it is hot in the US and only thing available other than the chinese imports. If only we were aware of the total lack of knowlege in most markets for this training method. There is a huge need here for a true revelation of its possibilities.
