If it is the same company I am thinking of , they are free standing plates ( no handle bars ) and have a range of 20-60 HZ. No mention of amplitude or any other usefull specs.

Due to the engineering specs though I would class this as a Therapy/Training model. But very light on the Training side.

The company that sells them seems to have limited knowledge of Vibration Training in general and only considers the rebalancing effects of this form of training . From my experience this is not a good sign.

Note : No independent reports on this model.

2 yr warranty , a large pad for $1000 (U.S.)

All up a better risk than most models out there.

From my original research into this unit dated 16/10/2005 they were made in Slovakia. They may have changed since then but I doubt it.

The salesperson may be confused as the company that owns the factory is based in Belgium ( Punch Int.)

As for the price , they go for E5689 in France , Vibro-Gym go for E7249 on the same retail site. So the price difference in OZ sounds feasable.

Unfortunatly I have had only one independent report on the function of that machine. I was told it was comparable to the Vibro-Gym.

I cannot comment on the company that sells it though. But I suppose no news can be good news.

Lloyd,
Thank you for info on vibrocoach, I rang them today and they quoted me AUD$9989 plus GST on their commercial machine, made out of steel. This sounds too good to be true as Vibrogym Professional is approx AUD $15,000 stainless steel. The lady said they're manufactured in Belgium, however, on their site it says manufactured in Slovakia ? Can you please confirm where it's manufactured. The sales lady said there is 2 year warranty. Lloyd what is your view on their quality, I want a good quality machine which I wont outgrow or will not fall apart, it's for my private use only.

thank you,
Anna

This company is operating in Australia.

http://www.vibrocoach.com/

It is a comparable unit to Vibro-Gym but I have not had any feedback or communication with them for years. So I cannot speak about their after sales service etc..

Lloyd,

I am seriously considering Vibro Gym Professional as I can purchase this machine here in Australia, it sounds solid, stainless steel, sound manufacturer. The Galileo, whilst it's interesting it's pivotal and I am not quite sure about this. Other than Hypergravity Professional, which apparently can be bought ex USA,which I don't particularly like the look of, what else is there in the market place which I can purchase in Australia, which is of solid structure, I wont outgrow, will last, is good value for money. My budget is approximately, AUD $15,000, give or take a little.
Please help as I am becoming very skeptical with all the marketing hype.

I believe the lack of quality , education and ethics surrounding this machine adds up to a risk not worth taking. And my view on this has hardened as a result of personally completing a program on that machine.

I will not even release my full review as I would only be accused of being biased.

In Australia I am not aware of any home units I would recommend yet. My advice would be to wait a bit.

Hi - thank you.. do you mean dangerous for the body - as exercise? Am I wasting my time using it for any health benefits - such as weight loss etc.? I have actually ended up with two of them and was thinking of selling one.

I live in Australia and am now wondering which unit you would recommend for home use?
